The floor refinishing process can be broken down into a few steps. The first few steps involve sanding and repairing your existing flooring to remove the old finish and prepare the surface for a new coat, which for a 1000 sq/ft room can be completed in 1-2 days. The final steps of the floor refinishing process include adding your choice of finish with our 2-coat system. To allow for drying, only one coat can be applied per day, so the total time is dependent on the size of the floor and the number of coats of finish applied.
