Our Process For Resurfacing

 
  1. Dust Mop- We use a dust mop remove dirt and dust from the floor. Gum, tape, candy,  stuck to the floor is also removed at this time.
  2. Deep Scrub clean – Heavy duty floor cleaner is used with scrubbing pads and a machine scrubber to remove, shoe marks, ground in dirt along with any other foreign material that may be on the floor surface. 
  3. Residue clean up- A mild cleaner and machine scrubber are used to remove any residual heavy cleaner still on the floor.
  4. Abrasion- The floor is etched using a fine grit paper and swing buffer to gently remove the top layer of finish.
  5. Dust Removal- We do a final cleaned and tack to remove fine dust from the floor.
  6. Perimeter Check-  The edges are cleaned by hand with a towel. 
  7. Finish Application.- Finely we can apply the finish. You floors are ready for play in 48-72 hours.

No. Harsh cleaners like bleach or acidic products can break down the new finish. Use only MFMA-approved cleaners designed for gym flooring to avoid damaging the surface.

Use proper cleaning equipment, avoid dragging furniture, and keep entrance areas clean to reduce debris. Regular maintenance, including dust mopping and proper disinfectant use, goes a long way.
