Our screen and recoat service typically involves 6 steps, cleaning and dust moping, scrubbing process to remove shoe marks, gum, soda, dirt and other debris, abrading, vacuum, tack mop and clean again, finely the new coat of finish can go down. The entire process can be done in just one day. Your gym floor is playable in 24-48 hours after the finish is applied.

Water is the leading cause of damage to a floor. Whether its a leak from the water fountain, comes in from the showers or falls in from the roof, water can wreak havoc on your flooring systems. Once the moisture is allowed to penetrate below the surface of the wood, it will begin to cause damage. Continued dampness will promote mold and once it reaches this point the affected area will need to addressed and replaced.

Here is photo of a floor that had water damage towards the front of the room and across the three point and free throw area about 35 to 40sqft. We removed the damaged maple wood and inspected the sub strait for dryness using state of the art equipment to test for moisture. After it was laced in and reinstalled, you have a seamless patch and you can’t tell there was damage to the wood and the floor performs as it was intended to.
